Kustom Clothing / Heatwave established in June 2005, HeatWave Raving Gear was the pioneer in the phat pants business in Malaysia. Operating purely online, their astounding success in the local market led to massive spread of word of mouth, leading to global orders within their first months of establishment. To date, HeatWave Raving Gear has provided their signature phat pants to over 2000 customers in over 15 countries across the globe. HeatWave Phat Pants are fully customized to cater to each individual’s shape, size, tastes, and personality – they are specialized in bringing intricate paper drawings to life.

However, bringing just phat pants and other raving gear such as reflective suspenders, wristbands, and t shirts was not enough for HeatWave. In 2007, HeatWave aspired to be the epicenter of the distribution of rave merchandise. Allying with other brand giants such as BAXX, Hard Kandy, Hardstyle Republic, and PHD, HeatWave succeeded in making a name in being the one-stop shop to go to for all major brands.

Shop being the operative word – HeatWave management felt a need to expand their business to fully tap into the potential of the local Malaysian market. Thus, HeatWave’s “Kustom Clothing” store was born.

Kustom Clothing in SS15 Subang Jaya opened officially on 9th January, 2009. With the success of this flagship store, within 6 months, Kustom Clothing’s second branch opened in Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur.
